For more than 20 years UniversalPegasus International (UPI) has pioneered the migration of offshore Gulf of Mexico safety systems from strictly pneumatic logic to programmable electronic systems. UPI possesses the in-house capability to perform complete engineering & design of all electrical, instrumentation and automation systems necessary for Oil & Gas and Power facilities.

The Automation, Instrumentation & Electrical (AI&E) team stresses transparency and accountability through each phase of a project’s Standard Design Life Cycle (SDLC). Our breadth of capabilities include the ability to perform the engineering & design of all electrical, instrumentation and automation systems necessary for oil & gas extraction, refinement and transport from concept, through detail design, execution, and into post start-up support worldwide. UPI’s proven track record includes the engineering & design of monitoring and control systems for compressor stations, wellsites, metering, pipelines, and gas & liquid processing facilities. Our experience also includes performing studies and developing reports such as feasibility and cost studies, root cause analysis, operability, reliability, and availability analysis, product evaluations, facility regulatory and compliance audits, and field surveys, to include evaluation of existing facilities.

UniversalPegasus International’s (UPI) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team specializes in providing cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions to the Oil, Gas and Power industries. Our spatial information solutions provide projects with an integrated map-based environment that streamlines processes and improves decision making. Our web-based enterprise platform facilitates streamlined data input, validation, analysis, and visualization to support effective communication and optimize data management, project stakeholder interactions, and business system integration.

UniversalPegasus International’s (UPI) Information Management (IM) solutions improve data use, enhance collaboration, and streamline engineering, procurement and construction processes. Our solutions consist of an extensive and interoperable suite of information management applications and web-enabled services focused to enhance digital asset intelligence via data integration, data integrity and data maturity. Our services make large amounts of cross-discipline information easily accessible to specified recipients via portal technology. Our tools enhance project decision-making by addressing document management, data management and model management.

UniversalPegasus International (UPI) delivers Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) compliance with its Construction Auditing & Reporting Database (CARDS) solution. CARDS provides pipeline owners & operators a method of tracking all relevant pipeline field data in a geospatially searchable database. All project data is stored in an industry standard database for quick access during PHMSA audits. CARDS is project proven to reduce the time spent on audits from weeks and days to hours so that you can focus your efforts on quality data processing as well as progress in the field.

In addition, data captured with the CARDS System provides pipeline owners & operators a method to track individual inspector performance, as well as progress and status against baseline schedules. Digitally captured data and forms are spatially referenced and represented along the route of the pipeline, so that stakeholders seeking current and historical information have an intuitive, map-based method of accessing documents based on station, milepost, parcel or coordinate.
